As we close another school year, we are thankful for God's faithfulness and provision from one season into the next. We are thanking our mighty God for the lives that have been changed by His mercy and grace, from students in our international ministry to students across all grade levels and classrooms on campus as well as those right in our very own homes. God's Spirit is moving in power, and we are learning, growing and changing one day after another in response to His undying truth and love. May we so continually chase after the desires of His heart this summer that we return in September more passionately in love with our Lord Jesus Christ than ever before. Blessings as you find that needed rest in His refreshing presence each day.

Alive in Christ!
April 2014
As we celebrate Jesus' complete sacrifice for us on Good Friday and His Resurrection that has changed our lives, we are grateful for the gift of His incomprehensible love that is continuing to work miracles and bring salvation across our campus and all throughout the world. May blessings continue to pour out even as our school routine pauses for a week and we consider what our God has done and what we can do in response. Because of His grace and love, we are alive in Christ and forever His!

God's Love Poured Out
February 5, 2013
Valentine's Day is quickly approaching! Together we are so blessed as UCA staff and students to be one big happy family celebrating our awesome God who daily pours out His indescribable love into our hearts and lives.
In every subject, we are growing increasingly aware that our God reigns over all. We see that our God is a God of order and complexity in 6th and 7th grade Math as we are learning how to solve multi-step algebraic equations that involve fractions, decimals and percents. We enjoy the cameraderie of working together as a class and in small groups as we think through problems and arrive at the targeted solutions, and we understand that staying focused, working hard, and most of all relying on God will bring us to that place of successfully achieving our goals.
In 6th and 7th grade Bible as well, we are growing in our understanding of the sovereignty of God, His faithfulness to His children, and the important decisions we make each day in our own personal journeys following Christ. Bible truths speak timeless wisdom into our lives and call us to trust in God's single plan of salvation in Christ. From Genesis to Revelation, we see Jesus as our victorious Savior. We are so blessed!

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!
It's a time of wonder and joy as we thank God for His countless blessings and celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. With each new day we are learning more about our Lord's awesome power and infinite love for us.
Bible 6 - Each day we are reading through the book of Genesis together and encountering passages that proclaim the wondrous acts of God extending from the creation of our entire universe to all living things. Our classroom, too, seems to have come to life with student work displaying the creation of birds above us, insects and animals crawling along flowers and vines, and sea creatures swimming through ocean depths.
Bible 7 - Together we are taking an in-depth look at the life of Christ, studying his character and commands so that daily we may become more like Him. Everything we are learning directs us to go deeper in our love for God Himself and for the people He has placed all around us. Character qualities such as humility, compassion, zeal, and holiness are pondered through memory verses and practiced through classroom skits and day-to-day real-life experiences.
Math 6 & Math 7 - Our Creator God is also a God of complexity and order, and in our math classes we are engaging complex (two-step) algebraic equations as well as using order of operations in our daily math challenges. Math games continue to be a favorite method of practicing new skills, and we are looking forward to all that is yet to be learned as the new year approaches.
